Star rating block
The Star rating block in Seventh shows a fixed number of stars, for testimonials and reviews you write yourself.
Applies to: Seventh 4.0.0 and later. Added in: Seventh 1.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-12 against Seventh 4.0.0.
The Star rating block shows five stars, filled to the rating you set, with an optional caption such as "4.8 out of 5". It is a design element: you type the rating yourself.
Where to find it: select Add block inside a section or card in the theme editor, then choose Star rating. The Testimonial card preset already contains one.
Setting the rating
- Rating is a percentage of five stars: 100% fills all five, 80% fills four (the default), 90% fills four and a half.
- Caption shows the score as text next to the stars, for example "4.5".

- Testimonials.
- Product highlights.
Does the Star rating block show my product reviews?
No. It shows the rating you type; Seventh does not read review apps in this block. To show a product's real rating, use the Product rating block. It reads the rating that your review app saves on the product. See Product information blocks.
All Star rating settings
Every setting in this group, with its type and default.
Rating (slider 0 to 100 %, step 10, default: 80 %): Sets how much of the five stars is filled, in percent: 100 is five stars, 80 is four, 90 is four and a half.
Caption (text field): Sets an optional text next to the stars, for example the score.
