Formatting
Content is a rich text field: paragraphs, bold, italic, links and bulleted or numbered lists.
- For a title, use the Heading block. It has heading fonts and an HTML tag for search engines.
- For a single short label, use the Caption block.
Common use cases
- Product descriptions: Medium or Large size, Normal weight, Default line height.
- Announcements: Large or XLarge size, Bold weight and a custom color to stand out.
- Supporting text: Small or XSmall size with Reduced text opacity, for captions or fine print.
- Body content: the defaults (Medium size, Default line height, Normal weight).

Tips for success
- Medium to Large sizes read best for body text; use smaller sizes for supporting text.
- A larger line height makes long text easier to read.
- Use bold sparingly, for emphasis.
Can the Text block show product information?
Yes. Connect Content to a dynamic source, for example the product description or a product metafield, on the product page or inside a product card. Turn on Hide block if dynamic content is not present to hide the block on products where that field is empty.
Why is my custom text color not showing?
Because Custom text color is fully transparent, which is its default. A transparent color means "use the color scheme". Pick a color and raise its opacity above 0.
