Testimonial card
The Testimonial card in Seventh is a Card preset with a quote, a star rating and the testimonial author, used in the Testimonials section.

The Testimonial card shows one customer review: a star rating, the quote and the name of the person who wrote it. It is a preset of the Card block, so it has the Card settings and no settings of its own. A card is a block that holds other blocks.
Where to find it: select Add block inside a Custom grid or Multicolumn section, then choose Testimonial card. The Testimonials section adds several Testimonial cards for you.
What it contains
A new Testimonial card starts with these blocks:
- A Content group with a Star rating block (5 stars, caption "5.0") and a Heading block for the quote. The Heading uses the body font at size XXLarge.
- A Testimonial author block with the customer name and a subtitle, for example a company or a city.
The card starts with Inner blocks spacing Regular, Padding Large and Add padding to media elements on. You can remove, reorder or add blocks like in any card.
Where the settings are
The Testimonial card uses the settings of the Card block: Card style, Card height, Card link and Background. They are listed on Blank card. The blocks inside the card have their own settings:
- Star rating block: Rating and Caption.
- Testimonial author block: Author title, Author subtitle and Author avatar.
- Heading block: the quote text and its typography.

- Customer reviews: short testimonials that build trust on product or landing pages.
- Homepage trust signals: testimonials near hero banners, featured products or calls to action.
- Purchase reassurance: testimonials close to the price or the buy buttons.
- Brand credibility: feedback from partners, publications or well-known customers.
- Customer stories: longer quotes with names, roles or images.
- Campaign validation: customer quotes that support a promotion or a launch.
Does the Testimonial card show reviews from a review app?
No. The Testimonial card shows the text and rating you type in the theme editor. Seventh does not import reviews from review apps into this card. To show app reviews, add the review app's own app block to the page.
