Table section

The Table section in Seventh is a Multicolumn preset with a table block, for feature lists, specifications and comparison charts.

Applies to: Seventh 4.0.0 and later. Added in: Seventh 3.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-12 against Seventh 4.0.0.

The Table section shows structured content in rows and columns, such as product specifications, size charts, feature lists and plan comparisons. It is a preset of the Multicolumn section with one or two Table blocks, in four versions. Since Seventh 3.0.0.

Where to find it: select Add section in the theme editor, then choose one of the four presets in the Tables category: Table: features list (v1), Table: features list (v2), Table: complex (v1) or Table: complex (v2).

What it shows

  • A section header, with a Caption and the Heading "Table specifications".
  • One or two Table blocks. Each has a heading row and text cells (Text blocks) or checkmark cells (Checkmark blocks), filled left to right and row by row.

Presets

  • Table: features list (v1): two tables side by side (Desktop columns Standard: 2 columns). Each has a "Specifications" heading and two cells per row: Materials, Shipping, Returns. Light gray background, inline borders removed.
  • Table: features list (v2): one full-width table with a black "Specifications" heading and two cells per row: Materials, Dimensions, Care.
  • Table: complex (v1): one table titled "Compare options" with four cells per row: a feature name, then a checkmark or a dash for each of three plans (Standard, Plus, Premium).
  • Table: complex (v2): one table with three cells per row: a feature name, a description and a checkmark. The heading sits in its own column on the left.

Settings

The Table section has no settings of its own:

  • Layout, color scheme and spacing are the Multicolumn section settings, listed in Multicolumn section.
  • The table settings (Blocks layout, Style, colors, borders, Corner radius) are listed in Table block.

How do I add a row to a table?

Add one Text or Checkmark block for each cell of the new row: select the Table block, then select Add block. The number of cells per row is set by Blocks layout in the Table block (1 to 4 columns). For example, in Table: complex (v1) add four blocks: a Text block with the feature name and three Checkmark or Text blocks.

Can I add a table to a product page?

Yes. The Table block is a theme block, so you can add it inside cards and other containers that accept theme blocks, as well as in the Table presets. See Table block for where it can be used.
