Sections
Sections in Kingdom: every section you can add with Add section, grouped as in the theme editor, with the page that documents each one.
Applies to: Kingdom 6.2.0 and later. Added in: Kingdom 2.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Kingdom 6.2.0.
A section is a full-width area of a page, such as a slideshow, a grid of products or an email signup. Most Kingdom sections have their own blocks, which you add and reorder inside the section. Only the Flex cards and Flex grid sections use cards and the shared theme blocks; see How Kingdom is built.
Where to find it: open a page in the theme editor, then select Add section in the left sidebar. The sections are grouped by category, in the order below.

- The Sidebar section, the Announcement bar section, the Popup section and the Cookies section appear on every page.
- The Footer group holds the Footer section and any sections you add above it.
- The page templates, such as the Product page and the Collection page, have their own sections.
