FAQ section
The FAQ section shows questions and answers as toggles, each with an optional image, on a Kingdom page such as the FAQ page.
Applies to: Kingdom 6.2.0 and later. Added in: Kingdom 2.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Kingdom 6.2.0.
The FAQ section shows questions and answers as toggles: customers select a question to open its answer. Each answer can have an image under the text.
Where to find it: select Add section in the theme editor, then choose FAQ (Add section category Content). The bundled faq page template already contains it, see Regular page.
Adding questions
Add a FAQ block
Inside the FAQ section, select Add block → FAQ. There is no limit on the number of questions.
Write the question and the answer
Type the question in Title and the answer in Text. The answer supports bold, italic, links and lists.
Add an image if it helps
Upload an Image to show it under the answer, for example a size chart or a map. It shows at its own proportions.
Order the questions
Drag the blocks to change the order. Then select Save.
Heading and the first toggle
- Heading shows a title above the questions (default "Frequently asked questions"). Heading tag sets its HTML tag, see General section settings.
- Have the first toggle opened by default opens the first answer when the page loads. All other answers start closed.
- Customers can open several answers at once; each one closes again when they select its question.
Can I group questions under subheadings?
Yes, with one FAQ section per group. Add a FAQ section for each topic, such as Shipping and Returns, and use the section Heading as the group title.

Heading (text field, default: "Frequently asked questions").
Have the first toggle opened by default (checkbox): Opens the answer of the first question when the page loads.
Heading tag (dropdown, default: H2): Specify heading level to help search engines index the structure of your page. Options: H1, H2, H3, H4, span.

Where to find it: FAQ → Add block → FAQ
Title (text field, default: "Question title"): Sets the question that customers select to open the answer.
Text (rich text, default: "Write a complete answer to the most frequent questions that your customers might have, such as impo…"): Sets the answer shown when the question is opened.
Image (image): Shows an image under the answer, at its own proportions.
