Collection list section
The Collection list section shows up to 8 collections you choose as large image links in one or two columns in Kingdom.
Applies to: Kingdom 6.2.0 and later. Added in: Kingdom 2.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Kingdom 6.2.0.
The Collection list section shows the collections you choose as large image tiles with the collection name on top. Each tile links to its collection page.
Where to find it: select Add section in the theme editor, then choose Collection list (Add section category Collections).
Adding collections
Add the section
In the theme editor, select Add section and choose Collection list.
Add a Collection block per collection
Select Add block → Collection, then pick the collection in Collection. The section holds up to 8 Collection blocks.
Order the tiles
Drag the blocks in the section to change the order of the tiles.
Each tile shows the collection's own image, from Shopify admin → Products → Collections → the collection → Collection image. A collection without an image shows a placeholder drawing.
Layout and text position
- Layout sets the tile size. Two columns (default) puts two tiles side by side; when the number of tiles is odd, the last one fills the whole row. One column gives every tile the full width, in a wider and lower shape.
- On screens 768 px wide or less, every tile takes the full width.
- Text alignment places the collection name on the tile, in one of nine positions (default Left bottom).
- Custom text color sets the color of the collection names. Custom background color lays a tint over the images at 30 percent opacity, which helps light text stand out. See General section settings.
- Enable inner content spacing (default off) adds side padding around the tiles.
Can I use another image than the collection image?
Yes. Upload it in the Collection block's Image. It replaces the collection image in this section only. The tile crops the image to its shape, and a custom image keeps the focal point you set on it in Shopify's file editor.
Why does my collection tile show a drawing instead of an image?
Because the collection has no collection image and the block has no custom Image. Add an image to the collection in Shopify admin, or upload one in the block.
How do I show all my collections at once?
Use the collections list page instead. It can list every collection automatically, without blocks. See Collections list page.
