Featured product section
The Featured product section shows one product with its gallery, variants and buy buttons on any Kingdom page, like a compact product page.
Applies to: Kingdom 6.2.0 and later. Added in: Kingdom 2.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Kingdom 6.2.0.
The Featured product section shows one product on any Kingdom page, laid out like a compact product page: the media gallery on one side, and the title, price, variants and buy buttons on the other. Customers can add the product to the cart without leaving the page.
Where to find it: select Add section in the theme editor, then choose Featured product (Add section category Products).
Choosing the product
- Select product chooses the product. Until you choose one, the section shows placeholders.
- The gallery is a slider with dots. On desktop the media fits inside the gallery; on phones it fills the width.
- Enable image zoom (default on) lets customers open a larger view of an image.
- Enable video looping (default off) restarts product videos when they end.
Blocks
The details beside the gallery are blocks, shown in the order you drag them. The Featured product section uses the same blocks as the product page, so their settings are explained once on the Product page:
- Size guide, Text, Vendor, Title, Price, Show tax information, SKU / BARCODE
- Variant picker, Back in stock alert, Buy buttons
- Product rating, Disclosures and app blocks
One block is not on the product page: Product link adds a "View product details" link to the full product page. The Quick view popup has it too.
These product page blocks are not available in Featured product: Description, Share, Custom HTML / Liquid, Collapsible tab, Pickup availability and Complementary products. The Size guide block also has no Hide block if dynamic content is not present checkbox here.
Why is the description not shown?
Because the Featured product section has no Description block. Add a Product link block so customers can open the full product page, or add a Text block with a short summary.
Can I show a different product on each page?
Not automatically. Select product holds one fixed product. Kingdom does not change it per page; to show a product next to related content, add a separate Featured product section on each page or template.
Why does the terms checkbox not stop the buy buttons here?
Because the terms checkbox of Theme settings → Cart blocks only the Checkout button in the cart. Show dynamic checkout buttons in the Buy buttons block go straight to checkout. Turn them off if customers must accept your terms first. See Cart theme settings.
