Testimonials section
The Testimonials section shows up to 8 customer quotes in a slider in Kingdom, each with the author's name, title and avatar.
Applies to: Kingdom 6.2.0 and later. Added in: Kingdom 2.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Kingdom 6.2.0.
The Testimonials section shows customer quotes in a slider, one quote at a time, with the author's name, title and a small round photo above each quote.
Where to find it: select Add section in the theme editor, then choose Testimonials (Add section category Content).
Adding testimonials
Each quote is a Testimonial block; the section holds up to 8. Customers swipe or drag to see the next quote.
- Quote sets the text, shown large and centered. It supports bold, italic and links.
- Author name and Author title show above the quote, for example a name and "Customer" or a city.
- Author avatar adds a round photo, shown 66 px wide. Use a square image.
Custom background color fills the whole section with a color and adds space above and below the slider; Custom text color sets the text color. See General section settings.
Can the Testimonials section show reviews from my review app?
No. The quotes are typed into the blocks, and Kingdom does not read reviews from apps here. To show app reviews, use the review app's own block in an Apps section, or turn on Show rating in Product card theme settings for stars on product cards.
Why are the slides of different heights?
Because the slider adapts its height to each quote. A long quote makes the section taller while it shows. Keep the quotes about the same length for a steady layout.

Testimonials section: Colors
Where to find it: Testimonials → Colors
Custom background color (color, default: transparent): Fills the whole section with this color and adds space above and below the slider.
Custom text color (color, default: transparent): Sets the color of the quotes and the author details.
Testimonial block
Where to find it: Testimonials → Add block → Testimonial
Quote (rich text, default: "Add customer reviews and testimonials to showcase your store's happy customers."): Sets the testimonial text, shown large and centered.
Author name (text field, default: "Author").
Author title (text field, default: "Customer"): Shows a short line under the author name, such as Customer or a city.
Author avatar (image): Shows a round photo of the author, 66 px wide. Use a square image.
