Text columns section

The Text columns section shows up to 3 columns of headings and text in Kingdom, without images or icons.

Applies to: Kingdom 6.2.0 and later. Added in: Kingdom 5.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Kingdom 6.2.0.

The Text columns section shows up to three columns of text side by side, each with a heading. It has no images or icons, for short facts such as delivery times, opening hours or guarantees. Kingdom 5.0.0 added it.

Where to find it: select Add section in the theme editor, then choose Text columns (Add section category Content).

Adding columns

Each column is a Text block; the section holds up to 3. The columns share the row equally.

  • Heading and Text set the column content. The text supports bold, italic, links and lists.
  • Heading tag in the section sets the HTML tag of every column heading (default H3).
  • Three columns stack one under the other on screens 648 px wide or less; two columns on screens 480 px wide or less.
  • Custom background color fills the whole section with a color and adds space above and below it; Custom text color sets the text and link color. See General section settings.

A Text columns section with no blocks shows nothing.

Can I add more than three columns?

No. The Text columns section holds up to 3 blocks. Add a second Text columns section below the first for more, or use the FAQ section for a longer list of short answers.
