Collections list page
The Kingdom collections list page shows all your collections or a selection you choose, in one or two columns, sorted the way you set.
Applies to: Kingdom 6.2.0 and later. Added in: Kingdom 2.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Kingdom 6.2.0.
The collections list page is the page at /collections that shows your collections as large image tiles, each linking to its collection. It can list every collection automatically, or only the collections you pick, in the order you set.
Where to find it: in the theme editor, open the page selector at the top and choose Collections list, then select the Collections list page section.
All or selected collections
Select collections to show decides which collections appear:
- All: every collection of your store, except the Home page collection (
frontpage). New collections appear on their own. Sort collections by: sets the order: alphabetically A-Z (default) or Z-A, by date (new to old or old to new) or by product count (high to low or low to high). - Selected: only the collections you add as Collection blocks, in the order of the blocks. Sort collections by: has no effect.
Choose Selected
In the Collections list page section, set Select collections to show to Selected.
Add the collections
Select Add block → Collection for each collection, and pick it in Collection. Remove the blocks of collections you do not want.
Add a custom image if needed
Upload an Image in a block to replace that collection's own image on this page. Leave it empty to use the collection image.
Order the tiles and save
Drag the blocks into the order you want, then select Save.
Layout
- The page title is "Collections", with the breadcrumb above it when it is turned on in Theme settings → Embellishments.
- Layout sets the tile size: Two columns (default), where an odd last tile fills the whole row, or One column, with wide tiles.
- Text alignment places the collection name on each tile, in one of nine positions (default Left bottom).
- Custom text color sets the color of the collection names. Custom background color lays a tint over the images at 30 percent opacity. See General section settings.
- On screens 768 px wide or less, every tile takes the full width.
Why does my sort order not apply?
Because Select collections to show is set to Selected. Sorting only applies when 'All' is selected; with Selected, the tiles follow the order of the Collection blocks. Drag the blocks to reorder them, or switch to All.
Why does my collections page show only some collections, or empty tiles?
Because the page is set to Selected with blocks that do not match your collections. A new Kingdom theme comes with the collections list template set to Selected and four example Collection blocks. Set Select collections to show to All, or replace the blocks with your own collections.
Why is a collection missing when All is selected?
Because it is the Home page collection, which Kingdom skips, or it is not published to the Online Store. Check its availability in Shopify admin → Products → Collections → the collection → Sales channels.
All Collections list settings
Every setting in this group, with its type and default.
Accepts these blocks: Collection.
Layout (dropdown, default: Two columns): Two columns puts two tiles side by side, and an odd last tile fills the whole row. One column gives every tile the full width. On screens 768 px wide or less every tile is full width. Options: One column, Two columns.
Text alignment (dropdown, default: Left bottom): Places the collection name on each tile. Options: Left top, Center top, Right top, Left middle, Center middle, Right middle, Left bottom, Center bottom, Right bottom.

Custom text color (color, default: transparent): Sets the color of the collection names.
Custom background color (color, default: transparent): Lays a tint of this color over the tile images, at 30 percent opacity.

All of your collections are listed by default. To customize your list, choose 'Selected' and add collections.
Select collections to show (radio buttons, default: All): All lists every collection except the Home page collection. Selected lists only the Collection blocks, in their order. Options: All, Selected.
Sort collections by: (dropdown, default: Alphabetically, A-Z): Sets the order of the collections. Sorting only applies when 'All' is selected; with Selected the blocks set the order. Options: Alphabetically, A-Z, Alphabetically, Z-A, Date, new to old, Date, old to new, Product count, high to low, Product count, low to high.
Collection block
Where to find it: Collections list → Collections list page → Add block → Collection
Collection (collection picker): Selects a collection to show on the page. Used when Select collections to show is Selected.
Image (image): Replaces the collection's own image on this page.
