Regular page
Kingdom's regular page template and its contact and FAQ variants: the page content from Shopify admin plus any sections you add.
Applies to: Kingdom 6.2.0 and later. Added in: Kingdom 2.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Kingdom 6.2.0.
The regular page template shows the pages you write in Shopify admin, such as About us or Shipping: the page title, the breadcrumb and your text, centered. Below the text you can add any section in the theme editor. Kingdom also includes a contact and a faq page template.
Where to find it: in the theme editor, open the page selector at the top and choose Pages, then pick the template (Default page, contact or faq). The page text itself is in Shopify admin → Online Store → Pages.
Page content
- The title and the text come from the page in Shopify admin → Online Store → Pages. The Page section in the theme editor has no settings.
- The text is centered in a column, with the breadcrumb above the title when it is on in Theme settings → Embellishments.
- Add sections under the text with Add section. Every page that uses the same template shows the same sections.
The default page template of a new Kingdom theme already has two sections under the text: a Heading ("Start Exploring") and a Collection list with four example collections. Change them, or remove them if your pages should show only their text.
Contact and FAQ page templates
Kingdom includes three page templates:
| Template | What it adds under the page text |
|---|---|
| Default page | A Heading and a Collection list section. |
contact | A Contact form section. |
faq | A FAQ section with questions as toggles. |
To use one, open the page in Shopify admin → Online Store → Pages and choose it in Theme template. To make a new template, open a page template in the theme editor, then use the page selector at the top → Pages → Create template.
How do I make a contact page?
Use the contact template.
Create the page
In Shopify admin → Online Store → Pages, select Add page and give it a title, for example "Contact". Type an introduction in the text field if you want one above the form.
Choose the contact template
Set Theme template to contact and save the page.
Set up the form
In the theme editor, open Pages → contact, select the Contact form section and set up its fields. See Contact form section.
Add the page to a menu
In Shopify admin → Content → Menus, add the page to your sidebar or footer menu.
Why do my pages show collections under the text?
Because they use the default page template, which comes with a Heading and a Collection list section. Open Pages → Default page in the theme editor and remove both sections, or give those pages another template.
