Product recommendations section
The Product recommendations section shows products related to the one on the page, as Kingdom product cards chosen by Shopify.

The Product recommendations section shows up to 8 products related to the product on the page, in a slider of product cards under the product. Its only setting is the Heading.

How the products are chosen
Product recommendations are handled by Shopify's algorithms, not by Kingdom. Shopify picks related products from your sales data and from product details such as the collection, the product type and the description. Kingdom only displays them.
- The cards look like every other product card in your store: see Product card theme settings.
- When Shopify has no recommendation for a product, the section hides itself, heading included.
- New stores and new products often have few or no recommendations until Shopify has enough data.

Can I choose the recommended products myself?
Yes, with Shopify's free Search & Discovery app. In the app, open Product recommendations, select a product and add the related products you want. Shopify shows your choices first in this section. The same app sets the complementary products of the Complementary products block, see Product page.
Can I show more than 8 products?
No. Kingdom asks Shopify for up to 8 related products, and the section has no setting to change that number. The cart page asks for up to 4, based on the first product in the cart.

Where to find it: Products → Default product → Product recommendations → Product recommendations
Heading (text field, default: "You may also like"): Sets the heading above the recommended products. The section, heading included, is hidden when Shopify has no recommendation for the product.
