Email signup section
The Email signup section adds a newsletter form to a Highlight page; subscribers are saved as customers in Shopify admin.

The Email signup section adds a newsletter form to a Highlight page. Customers enter their email address, and Shopify saves them as customers who accept email marketing.
Where to find it: Online Store → Themes → Customize → Add section → Email signup (Forms category).
- Heading shows a small title above the form. Default: "Newsletter".
- Heading tag sets the HTML level of the heading for search engines.
- The section starts with an Email form block and a Text block. Each block can be added once; their order sets what comes first.
Blocks
Text
Text shows a short paragraph next to the form, for example what subscribers get.
Email form
Shows the email field with an arrow button. After a customer subscribes, the form is replaced by "Thanks for subscribing!".
Where do the subscribers go?
To Shopify admin → Customers. Each subscriber is saved as a customer with email marketing consent and the tag newsletter, so you can filter them. Send campaigns with Shopify Email or another email app.
Can I connect the form to Mailchimp?
Not directly. The form saves subscribers in Shopify, not in Mailchimp. Use an app that syncs Shopify customers to Mailchimp. See Connect Mailchimp.
Is there a newsletter popup too?
Yes. The Newsletter block of the Popups section shows the same kind of form in a popup, with a delay and a frequency. See Popups section.

Heading (text field, default: "Newsletter").

Where to find it: Email signup → SEO
Heading tag (dropdown, default: H2): Specify heading level to help search engines index the structure of your page. Options: H1, H2, H3, H4, span.
Text block
Where to find it: Email signup → Add block → Text
One Text block per section.
Text (rich text, default: "Be the first to know about new collections and exclusive offers."): Sets the paragraph shown with the email form, for example what subscribers get.

Where to find it: Email signup → Add block → Email form
One Email form block per section.
The Email form block has no settings in Highlight 4.1.0.
