Products slider section
The Products slider section shows 3 to 9 products from one collection in a draggable slider in Highlight.

The Products slider section shows 3 to 9 products from one collection in a row that customers drag sideways. It is a more traditional way to show a collection than the asymmetrical Featured collection, and breaks the flow of a page with a few selected products.
Where to find it: Online Store → Themes → Customize → Add section → Products slider (Products category).
Products
- Collection picks the collection. The products show in the collection's sort order.
- Maximum number of products shown sets how many, 3 to 9. Default: 3.
- Heading shows a small title above the slider. Default: "Products slider". The heading is always an H2 for search engines.
The product cards look the same as everywhere else in the store, set in Product card theme settings. About three cards show at a time on desktop; customers drag or use the arrows to see the rest.
Why do my unique product badges not show in the slider?
The Products slider does not show unique product badges. They show only in the Featured collection section, collection pages and search results. See Product card theme settings.
Why does the slider say there are no products?
The selected collection is empty, or its products are not available on the Online Store sales channel. Add products to the collection in Shopify admin → Products → Collections.
All Products slider settings
Every setting, with its type and default.
Heading (text field, default: "Products slider"): Sets the title above the slider. It is always an H2 heading.
Collection (collection picker): Sets the collection whose products the slider shows, in the collection's sort order.
Maximum number of products shown (slider 3 to 9, default: 3): Sets how many products of the collection the slider shows.
