Image with text section

The Image with text section shows an image next to a heading, text and button in Highlight, with the image on the left or right.

Applies to: Highlight 4.1.0 and later. Added in: Highlight 1.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Highlight 4.1.0.

The Image with text section shows an image next to a heading, a paragraph and a button. Use it to tell your story or to present a product or a collection.

Where to find it: Online Store → Themes → Customize → Add section → Image with text (Storytelling category).

Image

  • Image picks the picture. It keeps its own proportions.
  • Image position puts the image on the Left (the default) or the Right of the text on desktop. On phones the image is always above the text.

When you use several Image with text sections in a row, alternate Image position so the page does not repeat one side.

Blocks

The text side is built from blocks. Each block can be added once; drag them to change their order. The section starts with a Heading and a Text block.

Heading

  • Heading is the title. Default: "Write your story".
  • Heading size sets Regular or Large (the default). Use the larger size for a short title with little text, and the regular size for longer text.

Text

Text is the paragraph. It supports bold, italic, links and lists.

Button

Button label and Button link add an underlined link with an arrow under the text.

How do I put the image on the right on mobile too?

You cannot. On phones, Highlight always shows the image first and the text below it, whatever Image position says. The setting changes only the desktop layout.
