Apps section

The Apps section holds app blocks from the apps you installed, so you can place an app anywhere on a page, as a full-width section of its own. It has one setting, No padding.

Where to find it: select Add section in the theme editor, then choose Apps.

• By default each app block has a padding on all sides, the same as other Split boxes: 80 px on screens wider than 1024 px, 40 px on tablets and 25 px on phones 480 px wide and narrower.

• No padding removes it, so the app content reaches the edges of the section. Use it for apps that draw their own full-width banner or grid.

You can add the Apps section to page templates and to the Header and Footer groups. It cannot be added to the Overlay group.

Because the app does not offer an app block. Only apps with theme app blocks appear under Add block in this section. Some apps use an app embed instead, which you turn on in the theme editor under App embeds, and some ask you to paste a code snippet: follow the app's own instructions, or ask the app developer.

Can I put an app block inside the product page instead?Copy Anchor Link

Yes, when the app offers a product block. The Product page section accepts app blocks directly, so a review or size chart app can sit between the product blocks. See Product page.
