Predictive search theme settings
The Predictive search theme settings of Borders extend the live search to SKU, barcode and product tags.

Predictive search shows results in the search drawer while the customer types. By default it looks through the product title, product type, variant titles and vendor. The Predictive search theme settings add more product fields to it.

What search looks through
- Search by SKU also finds products by the SKU of any variant.
- Search by barcode also finds products by a variant barcode (ISBN, UPC, GTIN).
- Search by tag also finds products by their tags.
Can customers find products by SKU on the search page?
These settings extend the live results in the search drawer only. The full search results page is run by Shopify; what it searches is set by Shopify and the Search & Discovery app. See Search page.

You can extend it with additional options below.
Search by SKU (checkbox, default: off): Adds variant SKUs to the fields the live search in the search drawer looks through.
Search by barcode (checkbox, default: off): Adds variant barcodes (ISBN, UPC, GTIN) to the fields the live search in the search drawer looks through.
Search by tag (checkbox, default: off): Adds product tags to the fields the live search in the search drawer looks through.
