Search page
The Search results section of Borders sets the results per page, filters and sorting, and how product and article results look.

The Search results section is the page customers see after they search the store and press Enter. It lists the matching products as product cards, and the matching blog posts and pages.

Filtering and sorting
- Results per page sets how many results show before the pagination, 12 to 248.
- Enable filtering and Enable sorting add the same filters and sort menu as on collection pages. Both are off by default.
- Image filter layout shows filters with images in 1 or 2 columns.
- The filters themselves are set in the Shopify Search & Discovery app.
Product results
- Desktop layout sets the columns of the product grid. The third option, labelled "4 columns" a second time in the editor, is 5 columns.
- Mobile layout sets 1 or 2 columns.
- The cards follow Product card theme settings.
Article results
Blog posts in the results show as cards. Show featured image, Media shape, Show date, Show comments and Show author set what each card shows.
How do I change which results appear?
Search is controlled by Shopify, not by Borders. Use the Shopify Search & Discovery app to add synonyms, boost products and set filters. For the live results while customers type, see the Search drawer section.

Where to find it: Search → Search results → Filtering and sorting
Enable filtering (checkbox, default: off).
Enable sorting (checkbox, default: off).
Image filter layout (dropdown, default: 1 column): Shows filters with images, such as visual swatch filters, in 1 or 2 columns. Options: 1 column, 2 columns.
