Collections list page
The Collections list page section of Borders lists all or selected collections with images, in 2 to 6 columns.
Applies to: Borders 3.1.0 and later. Added in: Borders 1.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Borders 3.1.0.
The Collections list page section shows your collections as cards with their image and title. Customers reach it at /collections, for example from an "All collections" link in your menu.

Collections to show
- Select collections to show: All lists every collection of your store. Selected shows only the collections you pick in the list under it, in your order.
- Sort collections by: orders the list alphabetically, by date or by product count. It applies only with All.
Layout
- Desktop layout sets 2 to 6 columns; Mobile layout 1 or 2 columns.
- Media aspect ratio sets the image shape, from Landscape (16:9) to Taller (2:3).
- Typography: the text alignment (Left or Center) and Title size (Small or Large) of the collection titles. In Borders 3.1.0 the alignment setting shows a code instead of its label in the editor; it is the first setting under Typography.
How do I link to the collections list page?
In Shopify admin → Content → Menus, open your menu, select Add menu item and choose Collections → All collections. The link goes to /collections, which uses this template.
All Collections list page settings
Every setting on this page, with its type and default.
Accepts these blocks: Collection.
All of your collections are listed by default. To customize your list, choose 'Selected' and add collections.
Select collections to show (radio buttons, default: All). Options: All, Selected.
Sort collections by: (dropdown, default: Alphabetically, A-Z): Sorting only applies when 'All' is selected. Options: Alphabetically, A-Z, Alphabetically, Z-A, Date, new to old, Date, old to new, Product count, high to low, Product count, low to high.

Desktop layout (dropdown, default: 3 columns). Options: 2 columns, 3 columns, 4 columns, 5 columns, 6 columns.
Mobile layout (dropdown, default: 1 column). Options: 1 column, 2 columns.
Media aspect ratio (dropdown, default: Square (1:1)). Options: Landscape (16:9), Short (4:3), Square (1:1), Tall (5:6), Taller (2:3).

Collection block
