What the 404 page shows
- A title, a short message and a button to all products (
/collections/all). - The Main 404 section has no settings. Its colors come from Theme settings → Colors → Default color scheme.
- The texts are theme texts. Change them in Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes → … → Edit default theme content (search for "404").
- You can add other sections to the 404 template with Add section, for example a Featured collection.
How do I send old links to a new page?
Create a URL redirect in Shopify admin → Content → Menus → URL Redirects. Customers who open the old link then go straight to the new page instead of the 404 page.
