Product recommendations section
The Product recommendations section of Borders shows related products under the product page, chosen by Shopify or the Search & Discovery app.

The Product recommendations section shows up to 4 related products under the product page, as product cards. Shopify chooses them automatically.
Where to find it: Online Store → Themes → Customize → Products → Default product → Product recommendations
Layout
- Heading (default "Related products") and Hide heading border set the section heading.
- Desktop layout shows 3 or 4 columns; Mobile layout 1 or 2 columns.
- Color scheme and Hide section bottom border set the section design.
- The cards follow Product card theme settings.
Where do the recommendations come from?
From Shopify, not from Borders. Shopify picks related products from sales data and product descriptions. To choose them yourself, install the Shopify Search & Discovery app and set related products per product under Recommendations. See Shopify's product recommendations.
Why does the section not show on some products?
Shopify has no recommendation for that product yet, for example in a new store or for a new product. The section is hidden until there are recommendations. Set related products by hand in the Search & Discovery app to fill it.

Heading (text box, default: "Related products").
Hide heading border (checkbox, default: off).

Where to find it: Products → Default product → Product recommendations → Layout
Desktop layout (dropdown, default: 4 columns): Sets 3 or 4 columns of recommended products on desktop. Shopify returns up to 4 products. Options: 3 columns, 4 columns.
Mobile layout (dropdown, default: 2 columns). Options: 1 column, 2 columns.
