Page titles theme settings

The Page titles theme settings of Borders style the main title of collection, blog, article, account and other pages, except the product page.

Applies to: Borders 3.1.0 and later. Added in: Borders 1.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Borders 3.1.0.

Page titles are the main H1 title at the top of collection, search, blog, article, cart, regular pages, customer account pages, the collections list and the 404 page. The Page titles theme settings style them all at once. The product page is the exception: its title is the Title block of the Product page section.

Title style

  • Text font uses the Headings or the Body font from Typography theme settings.
  • Text size sets the size, from Small to Extra huge (default: Extra large). Sizes scale from the font's Base size and shrink on smaller screens.
  • Mobile text size changes the size on phones (below 768 px): Small is 75 percent, Medium 90 percent and Large 120 percent of the default mobile size.
  • Line height sets the space between the title's lines: Default follows the font's Line height, Small, Medium and Large override it.
  • Text weight (bold), Text style (italic) and Text transform (uppercase) set the style.

How do I change the product title size?

Use the product page, not these settings. Open the product template in the theme editor, select the Product page section and then its Title block, which has its own typography settings. See Product page.

Why is my collection title so large on mobile?

Long titles at Extra large or bigger can take several lines on a phone. Set Mobile text size to Small or Medium to shrink page titles on phones only, without changing the desktop size.
