Buttons and fields

  • Corner roundness sets the corners of buttons, input fields, dropdowns, quantity selectors and pills: None (square), Slighty rounded (shown as "Slighty rounded" in the editor; 5 px), Rounded (10 px) or Fully rounded (pill shape). Fields stay less rounded than buttons: text areas at most 10 px, checkboxes at most 3 px.
  • Buttons border size sets the border thickness of buttons, 1 to 3 px. Form fields always have a 1 px border.
  • Use uppercase labels for buttons writes button labels in capital letters (default: on).

The button colors come from each section's color scheme (Colors theme settings); the hover effect of section footer buttons is in Section headings and footers theme settings.

Can I make form fields thicker like the buttons?

No. Borders draws form fields (inputs, dropdowns, text areas) with a 1 px border; Buttons border size changes buttons only.

Do these settings change the checkout buttons?

Partly. Shopify's accelerated checkout buttons (Shop Pay, Apple Pay and others) take the Corner roundness of the theme. Their colors and labels are set by Shopify and cannot be styled.
