Text block
The Text block of Local adds a paragraph of rich text with a text size and line height inside Flex sections.
Applies to: Local 4.2.1 and later. Added in: Local 2.7.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Local 4.2.1.
The Text block adds a paragraph of formatted text inside a Flex section card, slide or column: a description, a list of features or an announcement. It is a theme block.
Where to find it: Online Store → Themes → Customize → select a Flex section card, slide or column → Add block → Text
Text and size
- Text is the content. It accepts paragraphs, bold, italic, links and lists. An empty block shows nothing.
- Text size sets the size, from Extra small to Extra large (default Regular), relative to the body text size in Theme settings → Typography.
- Line height sets Default, Small or Medium spacing between lines.
The text uses the text color of the card or slide. To change it, set the card's Text color in its Custom card design group.
Text block or Caption block?
Use the Text block for paragraphs and lists. Use the Caption block for one short line, or for a badge with a background color.
