Troubleshooting by area
- Troubleshoot the store selector and maps: stores, pickup availability and Google maps that do not show.
- Troubleshoot product and collection pages: metafield blocks, swatches, badges, ratings, icons and quick buy.
- Troubleshoot the header, menus and popups: mega menus, menu images and popups.
- Troubleshoot the cart: checkout buttons, free shipping amounts, gift wrapping and cart notes.

- What Local does not do: the limits of the theme and what to do instead.
Where do I find the theme version?
In Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes. Each theme card shows the theme name and its version, for example "Local 4.2.1". The release notes of every version are in What's new in Local.
How do I update Local?
Add the new version from the Shopify Theme Store as a new theme, check it, then publish it. Your settings and content come along; edits to the theme files do not. See Update Local.
Which preset should I start with?
Any of the five: Local, Caffeine, Soleway, Lively or Thrive. They share every section and setting and differ in fonts, colors and the demo content. You can change any setting after you install one. See Local presets.
Does Krown support help with custom code?
No. Krown support helps you set up Local with its settings, fixes theme bugs, and can give a few lines of CSS for a small visual change. It does not write, review or fix custom code or theme file edits. See Custom work and code changes.
Where do I ask a question that is not answered here?
Contact Krown support at contact.krownthemes.com. Include your store URL or a preview link, the page where it happens and what you expected to see.
