Divider block

The Divider block of Local draws a horizontal line between blocks, with a height, width, color and style.

Applies to: Local 4.2.1 and later. Added in: Local 2.7.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Local 4.2.1.

The Divider block draws a horizontal line between other blocks, for example between a heading and a list of features. It is a theme block for Flex sections, their cards and slides, and Flex columns.

Where to find it: Online Store → Themes → Customize → select a Flex section card, slide or column → Add block → Divider

Line size

  • Height sets the thickness of the line, from 1 to 10 px (default 1 px).
  • Width sets its length:
    • Small: 50 px.
    • Medium: 100 px.
    • Large: 100 px in Local 4.2.1, the same as Medium.
    • Maximum: the full width of the card or column.

The line follows the text alignment of its card, so a short line sits on the left, in the center or on the right.

Divider Design

  • Color sets the line color (black by default).
  • Style sets Solid, Dotted, Dashed or Double. Double needs a Height of at least 3 px to show two lines.

The space above and below the line is the card's text spacing, the same as between any two blocks. Add an Empty space block for more room.

Why do Medium and Large look the same?

Because in Local 4.2.1 both widths are 100 px. Use Maximum for a line across the whole card, or Small for a short accent line.
