What is Kingdom
What Kingdom is: Krown's Shopify theme with a signature sidebar layout, three presets, and the features it includes in Kingdom 6.2.0.
Applies to: Kingdom 6.2.0 and later. Added in: Kingdom 2.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Kingdom 6.2.0.
Kingdom is a Shopify theme by Krown Themes, sold on the Shopify Theme Store. Its signature is the sidebar: the logo, the menus, search, the account and the cart sit in a fixed column on the left of every page, and the content fills the rest of the screen.
Where to find it: Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes, once you have added Kingdom from the Shopify Theme Store.
What makes Kingdom different
- A sidebar instead of a header. Kingdom has no Header section. The Sidebar section holds the logo, two menus with up to three levels, the language and country selectors, search, the account icon and the cart. On phones it becomes a bar at the top with a menu drawer.
- Drawers that open from the sidebar. The cart, the search results, the mobile menu and the filters open in drawers in the sidebar colors.
- Large, image-led layouts. Product grids can enlarge selected products to twice their size, and slideshows and image sections can run edge to edge.
Versions
The current version is Kingdom 6.2.0, released 2026-09-24. The oldest version on the Shopify Theme Store is Kingdom 2.0.0, from 2017.

Presets
Kingdom has three presets on the Shopify Theme Store: Kingdom, Queen and Prince.
- All three install the same sections, blocks, settings and templates.
- They differ only in their theme style: colors, fonts and a few product card values.
- In the theme editor, the Kingdom preset's style is called King.

Which languages does Kingdom include?
Kingdom 6.2.0 includes storefront texts in five languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The theme editor is in English. To translate your own content, or to add another language, see Translate your store into multiple languages.
Is Kingdom right for a large catalog?
Yes, with limits to know. The collection grid shows up to 248 products per page with Shopify's filters, the variant picker handles up to 2,000 variants per product, and predictive search can match SKUs, barcodes and tags. The sidebar menus show three levels, so a very deep category tree needs a flatter menu.
