Favicon theme settings

The Favicon theme setting sets the small icon that browsers show in the tab, in bookmarks and in the history next to your store name.

• Favicon image takes a square PNG. Combine scales it to 48 x 48 px for the store and to 32 x 32 px for the gift card page.
• Without an image, the browser shows its default icon.
• Use a simple shape or your logo mark: details disappear at that size.

Why does the old favicon still show after I changed it?Copy Anchor Link

Browsers keep the favicon in their cache. Open the store in a private window, or clear the browser cache, to see the new one. Search engines update the icon in their results later, on their own schedule.
