Short answers to general questions about Combine: versions and updates, presets, how the theme is built, bundles, customization and support. Each answer links the page with the details; for a specific problem, start with a troubleshooting page.

Which Combine version do I have?

Open Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes. Each Combine theme in your theme library shows its version number. The newest version is Combine 4.2.0, released 2026-09-22. See Update Combine and What's new in Combine.

How do I update Combine?

Add the new version from the update notification in Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes, check the updated copy, then publish it. Shopify carries over your settings, sections and content. Code edits are carried over only when they do not conflict. See Update Combine.

Can I switch to another Combine preset?

Yes. Duplicate the theme first, then choose another style in Theme settings → Theme style. Switching replaces your Theme settings, such as colors and fonts, but keeps your sections and content. See Combine presets.

How is Combine built?

From sections and blocks. Most sections have their own blocks; the four flex sections take theme blocks, such as Heading, Text and Button, which you arrange freely. Store-wide settings are in Theme settings. See How Combine is built and Flex sections.

How do I sell a bundle or a kit with a discount?

With the Products set or Products bundle section and a Shopify discount that matches it. The section adds the products to the cart; the discount, created in Shopify admin, lowers the price. See Discounts and bundles.

Where do I add custom CSS?

In Theme settings → Custom CSS for the whole store, or in a section's own Custom CSS field for one section. Both are Shopify features. See Custom CSS and code.

How do I change a fixed theme text, such as "Add to cart"?

Open Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes → … → Edit default theme content and search for the text. See Shopify's guide Change the wording of your theme.

Is Combine translated?

Yes. Combine 4.2.0 includes storefront translations for 33 languages and the theme editor in 21 languages. To translate your own content, use Shopify's Translate & Adapt app. See Translate your store into multiple languages.

Can I change the checkout page?

Only with Shopify's checkout settings. Shopify controls the checkout, not Combine, and the theme has no checkout settings. Change the checkout look in Shopify admin → Settings → Checkout.

What can Combine not do?

See What Combine does not do: the known limits of Combine 4.2.0, with what to use instead.

Does Krown support make custom changes?

No. Krown support helps with theme settings, theme bugs and small CSS tweaks, but does not provide custom code work. Customizations are work for a developer. See Custom work and code changes.

Where do I find answers for a specific area?

Who do I contact for help?

Krown support, at contact.krownthemes.com, for theme questions and bugs. Include your store URL or a preview link, the page where it happens, the device and browser, and a screenshot. For checkout, payments, domains, licenses and other Shopify features, contact Shopify support.
