404 page
The 404 page template of Combine shows a page not found message; it has no settings of its own.
Applies to: Combine 4.2.0 and later. Added in: Combine 1.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Combine 4.2.0.
The 404 page shows when a customer opens an address that does not exist in your store. It shows "Page not found", a short line and a Continue browsing button to the All products collection.
Where to find it: Online Store → Themes → Customize → template picker → 404 page.
Does the 404 page have settings?
No. The Main 404 section has no settings. You can add other sections under it in the theme editor, for example a Featured collection or a Search form, to help customers find their way.
The texts "Page not found", "The page you are looking for cannot be found" and "Continue browsing" are theme texts. Change them in Online Store → Themes → … → Edit default theme content.
How do I send old links to the right page?
Create URL redirects in Shopify admin → Online Store → Navigation → URL Redirects. Shopify then sends customers from the old address to the new one instead of the 404 page. Redirects are a Shopify feature, not a Combine setting.
