Customer account pages

The customer account templates of Combine: login, register, account, order, addresses, activate and reset password pages.

Applies to: Combine 4.2.0 and later. Added in: Combine 1.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Combine 4.2.0.

The customer account templates design the login, register, account, order, addresses, activate account and reset password pages. Combine styles them; Shopify runs the accounts.

Where to find it: Online Store → Themes → Customize → template picker → Customer account pages (Login page, Register, Account, Order, Addresses, Activate account, Reset password).

Classic and new customer accounts

Shopify has two kinds of customer accounts, chosen in Shopify admin → Settings → Customer accounts:

  • Classic customer accounts use these seven Combine templates.
  • New customer accounts are pages hosted by Shopify. They do not use these templates; their look is set in Shopify admin. Since Combine 3.2.0, the account icon of the header uses Shopify's account component, with the menu set in Header → Customer accounts → Customer account menu.

Customer accounts are a Shopify feature. See Shopify's help page Customer accounts.

Sign in with Shop

The Login page has one setting:

  • Enable Sign in with Shop adds Shop's login button to the classic login page (since Combine 2.4.3). Customers sign in with their Shop account instead of a password.

The other six templates have no settings.

Why do my account pages not look like Combine?

Because your store uses new customer accounts. Those pages are hosted by Shopify and do not use the Combine templates. Switch to classic customer accounts in Shopify admin → Settings → Customer accounts to use the Combine templates, or style the new pages in Shopify admin.
