Heading block

The Heading block adds a title inside a Kingdom flex card, with five sizes, a text color and a heading tag for search engines.

Applies to: Kingdom 6.2.0 and later. Added in: Kingdom 6.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Kingdom 6.2.0.

The Heading block adds a title inside a flex card: a Card of the Flex cards section or a Text card of the Flex grid section. It has five sizes, a text color and a heading tag for search engines.

Where to find it: select Add block inside a Card or a Text card in the theme editor, then choose Heading.

Text and size

  • Content sets the title. It supports bold, italic and links. Type [br] where a new line should start, for example New season[br]New colors. An empty heading shows nothing.
  • Heading size sets how big the title looks: Extra small, Small (the default), Regular, Large or Extra large. The sizes follow Theme settings → Typography → Headings.
  • Text color sets the title color. Transparent (the default) uses the card's text color.

Heading tag

Heading tag sets the HTML tag that search engines read: H1 to H4, or span. The default is span, which search engines do not count as a heading.

  • The tag does not change how big the title looks; Heading size does.
  • Choose H2 or H3 when the card title is a real heading of the page, for example the title of a promotion. Keep span for decorative lines.
  • Use H1 only for the main title of a page, and only once.

Why is my heading not bold or not big enough?

Because Heading size is Small, the default, and the font weight comes from Theme settings → Typography. Choose Regular, Large or Extra large for a bigger title. To change the weight or the font of every heading, change Headings in Typography theme settings.
