Image block

The Image block adds a small image, such as a logo or badge, inside a Kingdom flex card, with a height of 40 to 240 px and a link.

The Image block adds a small image inside a flex card, such as a logo, a badge or an award seal, with a height you set and an optional link. It is not meant for the card's main picture: the Card and the Text card have their own Image setting for that.

Where to find it: select Add block inside a Card or a Text card in the theme editor, then choose Image. It can also go inside a Content group block, next to buttons or captions.

Image and height

  • Image sets the picture. Use a PNG or SVG with a transparent background for logos.
  • Height sets the image height, 40 to 240 px (default 80). The width follows the image's proportions, so the image is never cropped.
  • On screens 768 px wide or less the image shows at 75 percent of its height (at least 60 px), and on screens 480 px wide or less at half its height (at least 40 px).
  • Link makes the image clickable. Open link in a new window opens the link in a new browser tab.

The image follows the card's text alignment: on the left, in the center or on the right.

How do I add a large image to a card?

Use the card's own media instead of the Image block. A Card of the Flex cards section has Image and Video file at the top of the card; a Text card of the Flex grid section shows its Image behind the blocks. See Flex card and Text card.
