Empty space block
The Empty space block adds a small, medium or large gap between other blocks inside a Kingdom flex card.
Applies to: Kingdom 6.2.0 and later. Added in: Kingdom 6.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Kingdom 6.2.0.
The Empty space block adds a gap between other blocks inside a flex card, for example to push a button away from the text above it.
Where to find it: select Add block inside a Card or a Text card in the theme editor, then choose Empty space.
Gap size
Height sets the gap: Small, Medium (20 px) or Large (40 px).
- Small adds no height of its own. Like every block, the Empty space block still gets the card's normal space between blocks, so Small adds just that much.
- The space between all blocks of a card comes from the section's Text spacing. Change it there to space every block at once, and use Empty space only where one gap should be larger.
How do I add a line instead of a gap?
Use the Divider block. It draws a line with its own height, width, color and style.
