Typography theme settings
The Typography theme settings choose Kingdom's heading and body fonts, their base sizes, the sidebar menu text size and the button corner radius.
Applies to: Kingdom 6.2.0 and later. Added in: Kingdom 2.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Kingdom 6.2.0.
The Typography theme settings choose the two fonts of your store, their base sizes, the text size of the sidebar menus and the corner radius of buttons.

Headings font
- Headings is the font of the headings: section headings and the titles of pages, products, collections and articles.
- Base size makes all headings larger or smaller together, from 18 to 80 px. Each heading size is calculated from it.
Body font and navigation size
- Body is the font of all other text: paragraphs, prices, menus, buttons, forms and the product titles in product cards.
- Base size makes the body text larger or smaller, from 12 to 24 px.
- Primary navigation sets the text size of the Primary navigation menu in the sidebar and in its menu panels, from 12 to 24 px. The Secondary navigation menu uses the body text size.
Kingdom also loads the medium, semibold, bold and italic styles of the body font when Shopify's font library has them.
Buttons
- Border radius rounds the corners of buttons, from 0 (square) to 30 px. Form fields follow the same value, up to 10 px.
Why does the font size on my store not match the slider value?
Because the sliders are guides, not exact sizes. Kingdom uses responsive font sizes: each text size is calculated from the base size and changes with the screen width. Move the slider up or down to make the text larger or smaller, and check the result on desktop and on a phone.
Can I use my own font?
Not with theme settings. The Headings and Body pickers offer only the fonts in Shopify's font library. Kingdom does not support uploading your own font files in the theme editor. A custom font needs a code change, described for developers in Custom fonts.
