Favicon theme settings
The Favicon theme setting uploads the small icon that browsers show next to your Highlight store's name in tabs and bookmarks.

The favicon is the small icon that browsers show next to your store's name in tabs, bookmarks and the history list.

Favicon image
- Favicon image takes a square PNG image. The editor asks for 48 x 48 px.
- Highlight resizes the image to 48 x 48 px, so a larger square image also works. A non-square image is fitted into the square and can look small.
- Without an image, browsers show their default icon.
Why does my new favicon not show?
Because browsers keep the old favicon in their cache for a while. Open the store in a private window, or clear the browser cache, to see the new one. Search engines update the icon in their results on their own schedule.
