Soleway preset
The Soleway preset of Local: its fonts, colors and product card style, and what to change first after you install it.
Applies to: Local 4.2.1 and later. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Local 4.2.1.
The Soleway preset is a crisp black and white look with an amber accent and large headings. Its demo is a shoe store.
Where to find it: Theme settings → Theme style → Soleway, or the Soleway preset on the Local page of the Shopify Theme Store.
Fonts and colors
- Headings: DM Sans Medium, base size 80 px, line height 1, letter spacing -2. Body: DM Sans, 16 px, line height 1.3. Menus 18 px.
- Header and body: white background, black text, amber accent
#d99d4b. - Cards: white with a light grey border, 12 px corner radius.
- Footer: black with light grey text and the amber accent.
- Layout: Maximum page width 1680 px, 100 px between sections, 30 px grid gap.
Product cards
- Media aspect ratio Natural, with Fit media inside container on and 5 percent inner spacing, so product photos sit on a light grey card (
#f1f1f1) without a border. - Show second product media on hover is on; the caption is left aligned with a Large title.
- The discount badge uses the amber accent.
- Custom badge 2 says "Preorder Now" (tag
preorder). - Cart: drawer, with cart recommendations on.
What to change first
- Replace the amber accent
#d99d4bwith your brand color in Theme settings → Colors. - Photograph products on a plain background: with Fit media inside container, each photo is shown whole inside the grey card.
Demo store
Soleway has no demo setup video. Its demo pages and extra templates are demo content, not part of the preset.
Is this preset a different theme?
No. Every Local preset installs the same theme, with the same sections, blocks and settings. The preset only sets the starting values of Theme settings. You can switch to another preset later in Theme settings → Theme style, see Local presets.
