Lively preset

Applies to: Local 4.2.1 and later. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Local 4.2.1.

The Lively preset is a warm, off-white look with a dark header and footer and an orange accent. Its demo is a wine shop, and its custom badges are set for wine colors.

Where to find it: Theme settings → Theme style → Lively, or the Lively preset on the Local page of the Shopify Theme Store.

Fonts and colorsCopy Anchor Link

• Headings: DM Sans Medium, base size 80 px, line height 1, letter spacing -1. Body: DM Sans, 16 px, line height 1.4. Menus 18 px.
• Header: dark #211f1d background with gold text (#d2bf87) and an orange accent (#ffa000).
• Body: off-white #f5f4f1, dark text, orange accent.
• Cards: off-white with a light border, 16 px corner radius; the card and button shadow colors are set (black and off-white), so shadows show as soon as you set offsets in Theme settings → Shadows.
• Footer: dark #211f1d with light text.
• Layout: Maximum page width 1680 px, 120 px between sections, 36 px grid gap.

• Media aspect ratio Taller (2:3), with Fit media inside container on and 10 percent inner spacing, for bottle photos.
• Caption centered, title Large; cards have their own background #eae9e4 and no border.
• The discount badge is orange; the sold out badge is dark brown.
• Custom badges for wine: "White" (tag white), "Rosé" (tag rose) and "Red" (tag red).
• Cart: Popup notification, with small images in the Taller (2:3) ratio.

• Tag your products white, rose or red to show the wine badges, or change the badge texts and tags in Theme settings → Product card → Custom badge 1 to 3.
• Check the cart type in Theme settings → Cart: the popup notification shows the added item; choose Drawer if you prefer a full cart at the side.

Lively has no demo setup video. Its demo pages (such as a wine club) and extra templates are demo content, not part of the preset.

Is this preset a different theme?Copy Anchor Link

No. Every Local preset installs the same theme, with the same sections, blocks and settings. The preset only sets the starting values of Theme settings. You can switch to another preset later in Theme settings → Theme style, see Local presets.
