Heading block
The Heading block adds a heading in four sizes, with a choice of HTML heading tag, inside Highlight's Flex sections.
Applies to: Highlight 4.1.0 and later. Added in: Highlight 4.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Highlight 4.1.0.
The Heading block adds a title inside a card of the Flex sections, in one of four sizes, with a separate HTML heading tag for search engines.
Where to find it: Online Store → Themes → Customize → select a Card (Flex cards section) or a Text card (Flex grid section) → Add block → Heading.
Writing the heading
- Type the text in Content. It supports bold, italic and links.
- Type
[br]where a new line should start, for exampleYour products[br]your story. - The block shows nothing while Content is empty.
Size and heading level
- Text size sets how big the heading looks: Small, Regular, Large (the default) or Extra large. The sizes follow the heading font and base size in Typography theme settings.
- Heading tag sets the level search engines read: H1 to H4, or span (no heading). Default: span.
Text size and Heading tag are independent. A small title can still be an H2, and a large one can be a span. Use H1 only once per page, for the main title.
Can I change the heading color?
Not in the block. The heading uses the card's Text color, set in the Card or Text card. For a colored label, use the Caption block, which has its own text and background colors.
