Button block
The Button block of Borders adds a button with label, link, style and size inside columns and content groups.
Applies to: Borders 3.1.0 and later. Added in: Borders 3.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Borders 3.1.0.
The Button block adds a button that links to a page, a product, a collection or any URL.
Where to find it: Online Store → Themes → Customize → a Flex columns column, a Flex grid card, or a Content group → Add block → Button
Label, link and style
- Button label is the text on the button. The default is "Show more".
- Button link is where it goes. Open link in a new window shows once a link is set.
- Button style: Outline draws the button as a frame; Solid fills it with color.
- Button size: Small, Regular or Large.
- The corner roundness, border size and uppercase labels of all buttons are set in Buttons and forms theme settings.
To put two buttons side by side, place them in a Content group block.
Why does my button not work inside a Flex grid card?
The card itself has a Link. A link on the entire card covers the blocks inside it, so the button cannot be selected. Remove the card's Link to use the button.
