Content group block
The Content group block of Borders puts text, button and badge blocks side by side with small or medium spacing.
Applies to: Borders 3.1.0 and later. Added in: Borders 3.0.0. Last checked: 2026-10-13 against Borders 3.1.0.
The Content group block places other blocks side by side on one line instead of one under the other. Use it for two buttons next to each other, or a badge next to a short text.
Where to find it: Online Store → Themes → Customize → a Flex columns column, or a Flex grid Text card or Media card → Add block → Content group
Settings
- A Content group accepts Text, Button and Badge blocks. Select Add block inside the group to add them.
- Horizontal spacing between blocks sets the gap between them: Small or Medium.
- When the blocks do not fit on one line, they wrap to the next line.
- A Content group cannot hold another Content group, a Custom Liquid or an Empty space block.
How do I show two buttons side by side?
Add a Content group to the column or card, then add two Button blocks inside the group. Give one the Solid Button style and the other Outline to show which one matters most.
