Remove the Powered by Shopify credit
Hide the "Powered by Shopify" link in the footer of your Krown theme: a setting in Seventh, one line of CSS in the other themes.
Applies to: All Krown themes. Last checked: 2026-10-13.
Krown themes show a "Powered by Shopify" link in the footer. Seventh has a setting to turn it off; in the other Krown themes you hide it with one line of CSS.
Where to find it: Seventh: Footer group → Copyright bar. Other themes: Theme settings → Custom CSS
Turn off the credit in Seventh
Open the Copyright bar
In the theme editor, open the Footer group and select the Copyright bar.
Turn off the notice
Turn off Show Shopify notice and select Save.
See Footer group for the other Copyright bar settings.
Hide the credit with custom CSS
Local, Combine, Borders, Split, Highlight and Kingdom have no setting for the credit. Hide it with CSS:
Open Custom CSS
In the theme editor, open Theme settings → Custom CSS.
Paste the CSS and save
Paste this line and select Save.
.powered-by-shopify { display: none !important; }The line hides the credit everywhere the theme shows it: in the footer, on the password page in Local and Combine, and in the header sidebar in Split.
Is the CSS kept when I update the theme?
Yes. Theme settings → Custom CSS is a theme setting, so Shopify carries it over to the new version with your other settings.
