Answers to questions about things Shopify controls, not the theme: checkout, filters, currency format, default texts, theme licences and refunds.

Many questions about a Krown store are about features that Shopify controls, not the theme. They work the same in every theme. This page answers the most common ones and says where to change each thing.
Can I change the checkout page?
Only with Shopify's own tools: the checkout is controlled by Shopify, not by the theme. Style it in Shopify admin → Settings → Checkout, where you edit your checkout configuration in the checkout editor (logo, colors, fonts, and on some plans apps and extra blocks). Shopify Plus stores have more options, with checkout apps and extensions. See Shopify's checkout editor help page, and contact Shopify support for checkout problems.
Where do I add custom CSS?
In Theme settings → Custom CSS for CSS that applies to every page. To style only one section, select the section in the theme editor and use its own Custom CSS field. Krown support can help with a few lines of CSS for small visual changes, see Custom work.
How do I change the theme's default texts?
With Shopify's Edit default theme content: open Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes → … → Edit default theme content, search for the text and type your own. See Shopify's changing the wording in your theme.
How do I show the customer login link in the header?
Turn on customer accounts and their sign-in links in Shopify admin → Settings → Customer accounts. Krown themes show the account link in the header when Shopify's customer accounts are on (in Borders, also check the account setting of the Header section). Shopify offers the current customer accounts and the older legacy customer accounts; the theme link works with both. See Shopify's customer accounts help page.
How do I set up collection filters?
With Shopify's Search & Discovery app: filters are a Shopify feature that works the same in every theme. Install the Shopify Search & Discovery app, then choose your filters in Apps → Search & Discovery → Filters. The theme shows the filters you set there on collection and search pages. See Shopify's storefront filters help page.
Why does the theme editor show different sections than my live store?
Usually because you are editing the customization of another market. Shopify lets you customize your theme per market (on the Advanced plan and higher). Make sure the market you preview in the theme editor is the same one you customize. See Shopify's customizing your online store for markets.
How do I change the currency format?
In Shopify admin → Settings → General: in the Store defaults section, open the … menu and select Change currency formatting. The theme shows prices in the format you set there. See Shopify's currency formatting help page.
How do I undo a code change in a theme file?
Restore an older version of the file from its Timeline in the code editor. This does not work for files in the Assets folder. The steps are in Edit the theme code.
Can I move my theme to a new store?
Only through Shopify. Each theme licence belongs to the store where it was bought, and Krown themes are sold only on the Shopify Theme Store, so only Shopify can handle licences. Shopify transfers a licence to a new store when you are the owner of both stores and close the original one. Contact Shopify support and see Understanding licensing and transferring themes.
Can I get a refund or exchange a theme?
No. A theme purchase on the Shopify Theme Store is final: it cannot be refunded or exchanged, and Krown cannot refund it. That is why Shopify lets you try a theme for as long as you want before you buy it. The only exception is Shopify's own: after a licence transfer, you can ask Shopify support about the original purchase.
