Troubleshooting and Krown support

Share a theme preview or storefront password

Share a preview link of an unpublished theme, your storefront password or your collaborator code, so others or Krown support can see your store.

Applies to: All Krown themes. Last checked: 2026-10-13.

Before you publish a new theme, you may want feedback from others or help from Krown support. A preview link shows an unpublished theme to anyone with the link; the storefront password and the collaborator code give access to a closed store.

Where to find it: Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes for preview links; Shopify admin → Online Store → Preferences for the storefront password

Share a theme preview

Open your theme library

Open Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes.

Preview the theme

Select the … menu on the unpublished theme you want to share, then Preview.

In the preview bar at the bottom of the page, select the share (link) button. Copy the link and send it.

You cannot share a preview link of your published theme: send your store address instead.

Share your storefront password

A store in private mode (for example during a Shopify trial, or before launch) asks for a password. Krown support cannot see your store without it.

Find it in Shopify admin → Online Store → Preferences, in the Store access section: with Private mode on, the password is in the Password field.

Share your collaborator code

The collaborator code is a 4-digit code that lets Krown support request access to your store, so it can debug or fix a theme bug faster. You approve the request first. See Find your collaborator code.

For a limited time set by Shopify. When a link stops working, create a new one the same way; a new link does not break older ones. A preview of a password-protected store also needs the storefront password.
